REC Teambuilding

Hey, i climbed a 5m high wall and went so-called rafting today!! It was sooo much fun n the sun was just plain merciless. Now im roasted, super tanned n peeling.

  • Alot of mini-games in the comfort of the air conditioned room
  • 'I'm Falling'
We have to catch our falling team member who trust us to catch him. A exercise where even the most macho man freaked out.
  • 'See-Saw'
16 of us on a big wooden see-saw trying our best to balance it.
  • 'Skiing'
Each team of 8 on 1 pair of skis, half balancing while trying to retrieve colored balls into out basket. Our team sucked at this one. We moved left when we were suppose to go right, and went right when we were suppose to go left...sigh...
  • 'Wire walk'
Walking, balancing with teamwork to get all members across the 2 stretches of taut wire
  • 'The Wall'
I was freaked out at first, coz we had to climb over tis 5m wall with no rope, just elbow grease. 1 fellow commented that i heavy as a 95kg wild boar...definately not one of the best part of the day!
  • 'Make a raft'
This is the most super fun game of all! We made the BEST boat out there, but in a last min twist of events, had to exchange it with a trashy one. It doesn't matter actually coz our team was strong and came ashore just as fast.

Overall, minus the aches n pains of an old lady., it was one of the best times i had since pre-university years... if they are having another round of this...Count Me In!

My Couzin's Wedding

Such a busy day! My cousin got married today...Congrats again!!
The solemnization took place at the bride's home. It was pretty small and super crammed with loads of relative.... Some of which i'm not sure who....hehe

Mr Sticky Fingers aka Monster #1 had many failed attempts to snatch the Ferreros chocos. Look at him trying to act innocent... but his hands slowly inching towards the Ferrero tower!!

As i said earlier, the flat was super hot!! My mum's face began looking like a cooked lobster in a matter of minutes. But she remained classy & cool, relaxing 1 corner, wiating for the buffet to starts.

The food was not bad, home cooked so it had a personal taste to it, the kind u can't get from food stalls... or maybe it was due to the absence of MSG...well either way, it tasted great! yum yum!

Lastly, what's a wedding without the pictures of the bride n groom. Smile ppl!!

Tell me more about urself...

I had the most super duper interview tis morning. It was with REC (Renewable Energy Cooperation) Even the company name sounds super cool right? What kinda company is this u may ask? Well, they are one of the leading manufacturer of solar panels in the world.

Now why do want have anything to do with them... i mean solar energy??!! Wat's up with that?

Before i was a stay at home mummy, i used to work in the semicon industry. Nothing fancy, just a hands-on MA on a 12-hr shift. And since im a very flexible person (not literally tho) any job is ok with me. My motto is:- There's always a 1st time for everything!

Anyways, i hope i clinched that job.

Group Monster Photo

Tot i would update on my 3 Monsters development.

  • Monster #1 still has a long way to go before developing any armpit hair
  • Strangers still cannot identify that Monter #2 is a girl, despite her wearing an enormous amount of pink
  • Monster #3 has been certified as overweight by our dear heath care professionals from Woodlands Polyclinic

Put on the rubber suit, baby!

I had a fun chat with my ex-secondary school mate. We were talking about her trying to conceive & me trying not to conceive. As u know, i already have 3 monsters of my own. They range between 4Yo to 3MO so getting preggy again would cause a heart attack for my already stressed out Tubby Hubby. We discussed about the methods of prevention and these are a few that topped the list.

  • The Pill
*the name says it all doesn't it. I dun really fancy popping those coz i dun like the idea of messing with my hormones*
  • Snip Snip
*come on, how cruel can u get? I already had a cesarean done & my bottom parts stuck back on in numerous stitches. Another surgical procedure and i'll end up looking like Frankenstein in a dress*
  • UID or IUD...or something like that
*i have 2 frens who got preggy when using this torture device. Definitely not going for it*
  • Rubber suit
*Easy on & easy off. Sound like a winner already*

After much debate & sharing of personal experience, it seems that less, is more. The humble rubber suit, deprived of potent toxins, invasive & life-scarring procedures & bad reputation, was the ultimate winner.

Next telephone topic; which brand...Durex or....

Got work or not?

Oh! The frustrations of job hunting is upon me again. It's been like what...3 years since my last job as the personal slave to my tyrant boss *yes Mr Anil Kumar...u drove me nuts* Every morning i scan the recruitment section of the Strait Times & by 9am i begin calling up every single appropriate job advert for enquires & fixing interview appointments. Altho most of them turn me down due to i can't speak Mandarin but hey, i'm sure there are alot of great English speaking jobs out there... i hope.

By 11am, i would have emailed my resume to at least 10 potential employers. You know typing this it reminds me of when i was job hunting in my early 20's, i sent out close to 2000 resumes before hitting jackpot. That's when i ended up working for Mr Anil Kumar actually... LOL

For those peeps who are reading this...i mean why do u read my broing blog in the 1st place.... i hope u have some job to refer me to. I have 1 year admin exp & 5 year production operation exp, (in electronics & semicon)

So do drop me a not if u got 'lobang' for a job!
