Water conservation tips

Hey, for those who have been to busy to notice, it finally rained today! It's good timing too coz our reservoirs were hitting an all-time low. For course we should all do our part in water conservation at home and at work. This is what i have been doing since Jan...

  • Use rice water to water my pathetic looking corridor plant
* i think it needs poison, not water, to end it's miserable life*
  • Use Monster #3's bathwater to mop the floor
*i know u guys are thinking....yucks! But hey my boy is only 2 months old, isn't dirty or sweaty but used a giant bathtub to bath everyday. Wasted leh*
  • Bath using water from the pail
*i find using the shower, i tend to leave the water on longer than usual coz the warm water is so shiok. A pail made me visually notice the limits of how much i have used & how much left*
  • Rinsing soapy dishes with a basin*
*Rinsing under the tap is too wasteful, so i scoop the water from the basin. Then i rinse the dishes with the water & my palm. This way only the sufficient amt of water is used to get the soap out, no excess wasted down the drain*
