I finally finished up crafting out the Binky Clipz today. Had been putting off the deadline coz my newborn was soooo clingly, kept wanting to be carried all day.
The Binky Clipz are 12" long, inclusive of the metal clip and 1" wide. The metal clip has plastic grip teeth, and dun be fooled by that coz it's grip is killer tight. Yet very gentle on fabric. I tested it to grip a piece of tissue & it didn't tear. The rear end of the strap is finished off with a colour coordinating, heavy-duty metal snap. Those sneaky little fingers will have a field day just trying to pry the snap open, coz once it's snapped shut...it stays shut til Mummy unsnaps it!
Now for the heart stopper...straps made out of super delicious designer fabrics. I got hold of some yummy Amy Butler's Mid West last week for tis batch of straps. It's sewn to have a SEAMLESS appearance. It was definately more time-consuming than just plain top-stitching the fabrics togather BUT i felt it was just wrong to marr the beautiful prints with hideous threads running across it.
And wat sets these cuties apart from all other paci-clips?
It's not made from cheap flimsy ribbons! It's peace of mind that u can throw them in your heavy duty industrial washer and not have them fall apart.
It's bundled up with lovey shimmery ribbon and neatly packed in clear plastic.
It looks POW! Definately ideal to be given away as a gift to that special loved one.
Do cheack them out at my Etsy Shoppe.
